About Fongo

Fongo is a Canadian telecommunications company that offers mobile services through its Voice-over-IP (VoIP) application, Fongo Mobile. It provides users with a free local Canadian phone number, unlimited Canada-wide calling, and free unlimited texting to other Fongo users. The service operates over Wi-Fi or a mobile data connection (3G/LTE), which makes it fundamentally different from traditional carriers. This model is ideal for users looking to significantly reduce their mobile bills, especially those who are often connected to Wi-Fi. While it relies on data, its free calling features and low international rates make it a unique and highly cost-effective communication tool.

Frequently asked questions about Fongo

How the table is sorted

You can choose how to sort the table yourself. You can sort the products by price, data, or popularity. If you choose to sort by “Most popular,” the product that has received the most clicks in the last 30 days will be displayed at the top.

If multiple products have the same price, they will be sorted by data allowance. If both the price and data are identical, they will be sorted in alphabetical order.

Why this service is free to use

If you order a product from one of the providers we partner with, we receive a commission from them. This does not affect the price you pay in any way. Furthermore, the commission we receive does not influence a provider’s position in the table.
